De Burgh: Project News July 2024

De Burgh emerges from the ground

Since our last project update, the construction program for De Burgh has been progressing well. All the basement slabs have now been completed, with the team pouring more than 4,000 square metres of concrete and installing 400 tonnes of reinforced steel across the site. This has allowed work to begin on forming the above-ground structure and over the next three months there will be dramatic and highly visible changes.

The next target is the completion of the ground floor slab, followed by the above-ground structure for both buildings up to level 5. As this progresses, we’ll be starting the fitout of the lower levels beginning with the installation of windows. We will also be starting work on the resident amenities, including the gym and residents’ lounge. Meanwhile, back in the basement, the team will be stripping out the formwork and starting to install services throughout the site.

There has been no change to the estimated completion date which we still anticipate to be in the second half of 2025.

We will continue to post further updates as work progresses. You can follow the construction process via updates on the JWLand social media pages or this website. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at nv@jwland.com.au or visit the De Burgh display suite.
