De Burgh Takes Shape as 2025 Kicks Off
As we ease into the new year and welcome the crisp mornings of autumn, construction at De Burgh continues to move along steadily. The past few months have seen strong progress across both buildings, with several key milestones now ticked off.
What’s Been Happening On Site?
The skyline has shifted recently, with both tower cranes now fully removed — a major milestone that marks a new phase of the build. All windows have been installed across every apartment, giving the buildings a more complete, enclosed feel.
Internally, kitchen installations are well underway, with fit-outs now complete up to level five. At the same time, approximately 30% of the scaffolding has been dismantled, providing a first glimpse of the building’s final form.
What’s Coming Up?
Looking ahead to the coming months, works will remain focused on internal finishes and external presentation. Key activities scheduled for Q2 2025 include:
- removing the remaining scaffold from both buildings,
- completing internal sheeting to all remaining apartments,
- beginning landscaping works throughout the site, and
- starting installation of carpet and timber flooring.
All in all, the build remains on track for completion in the second half of this year. We’re pleased with the pace of progress and look forward to seeing more of the design take shape as we head into the next phase of construction.
