DE BURGH EDGES CLOSER TO COMPLETION

We’re now well into the Canberra winter, with frosty mornings and shorter days becoming the norm. Despite the cooler conditions, construction at De Burgh continues to progress steadily as we move closer to completion.

WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING ON SITE?

Since our last update, the following milestones have been reached:

• all scaffold has been removed,
• landscaping along the De Burgh Street frontage is complete,
• kitchens and benchtops have been installed in every apartment,
• tiling has been completed to all bathrooms, and
• carpet has been laid up to level 4.

WHAT’S COMING UP?

In the coming weeks, the project team will be focused on:

• connecting permanent power to the building,
• installing storage cages in the basement,
• finalising line marking to basement car spaces,
• completing landscaping in the central courtyard, and
• completing landscaping along the Northbourne Avenue frontage.
